Amy Wright - Subdued and Thriving at Amelie Du Chalard
Ceres based artist, Amy Wright, commissioned me to photograph her new series of paintings Subdued and Thriving for gallery Amelie Du Chalard in Paris along with a couple of natural looking portraits of her with her work. She wanted to take the photography in a location that would show off the works and help to tell the story of the paintings. She chose a stunning Bellarine Peninsula property as the setting. As there was not much time between the works being complete and then shipped overseas to the galleries we had a very small window to photograph the pieces. We battled the Geelong winter rain and wild weather but managed to capture the images in the pockets of sunshine on the day and love the final results.
